AdventureSmith, in conjunction with S.T.E.P.S., Inc. and Bonsai Design, recognized a need to develop a primer that would answer many of the basic questions asked by companies and individuals seeking to develop an adventure challenge program.  Particularly concerned by the overwhelming number of clients who approached seeking to spend 100% of their start-up funds on course construction, AdventureSmith developed a site to help guide potential entrepeneurs and non-profits sites .

The companies were seeking a simple solution to post information to the web and optimize searchability.
