Association for Experiential Education - Hearltand Region 

The mission of the AEE is to promote experiential education. The Heartland Regions serves to support experiential education in Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan.

The Heartland Region had a website but no longer had someone who could update and maintain it.  They approached AdventureSmith to develop and design a community porthole that would provide detailed information about upcoming events and provide a forum for members to communicate through.

AdventureSmith designed a custom template for Mambo CMS (used also for the Rocky Mountain Region) and installed a series of add-ons, includin: photo gallery, newsletter manager, file manager, and more.
