AdventureSmith, Inc. is proud to announce the launch of www.blcse.org.  The web site was developed in conjunction with John Lupinacci and Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Michigan to support an EPA Grant aimed at "Building Leadership Capacity for Sustainability Education". 

Over the past 3 years, Eastern Michigan University and CCES have built relationships with four public school districts in four states (NH, NY, MI, and MN) that are in the beginning stages of using sustainability education as their central reform approach.  These relationships have developed in part from leveraging resources and results from past EPA grants (see narrative).  This proposal, "Building Leadership for Sustainability Education" will strengthen the capacity of these districts to re-orient themselves around sustainability and become models for other schools. 

The new website is intended as a community resource for those participating in the grant.  It further provides easy access for grant reviewers to assess project progress.  Built on the Joomla content management system, the site offers a variety of community networking resources, including: news management, community forums, community gallery, calendars, rss feeds, private messaging, and the popular community builder script by Joomapolis.
